October 19

Well, we are in London.  Made it safe & sound considering we had placed our lives in the hands of our limo driver on the way to the airport who was texting while driving on the freeway in the fog.  I mentioned to him that I would have to kill him if he didn't stop texting.  He claimed he wasn't but stopped.  Sorry, but if you're looking down at your lap and then looking up and looking down at your lap and then looking up several times while barely staying between the lines on the road, you're texting.

On our way to our gate, we were on those electric walkways.  Some really cute little English kids were trying to get by us and I moved over for them.  They were so polite, saying 'Thank you' in their cute English accents.  Meanwhile (with my mom behind me) I came to the end of the walkway but wasn't paying attention and my feet arrived at the end of the belt but my top half went diagonal, eventually horizontal landing on my side. Of course, I was embarrassed and MANY people witnessed this.  I survived but I'm sure some people thought I was just drunk (which I wasn't). Thanks for the warning MOM!  haha


Arrived in London after a good but tiring flight.  Lost track of Mom since she went ahead of me when getting off the plane.  Unaware that she went out a different exit than me.  I kept walking towards baggage claim hoping to catch up to her, thinking....where IS she?  Eventually got to the underground train and decided not to go further so I doubled back and sure enough she was waiting for me near the plane.  We decided there and then that she shouldn't go off wandering on her own without me.  Too funny.  Role reversal!!!

It seemed to come more alive as I uncovered it.  This just wasn't what I was used to.

It was very alive......sorry, just couldn't resist.

After dinner I decided to go for a walk since it was getting dark.  I walked over the Westminster Bridge and took some pictures at dusk.  Hope 
you enjoy them.  Time for a good night's sleep and do the Hop On, Hop Off buses tomorrow.  The weather here is sunny with some clouds and around 66F/18C.  Not bad.  Goodnight.
